The Stargazey
(Audio CD)
While on an aimless ride on the number 14 bus traveling Fulham Road, Richard Jury is taken by the sight of a striking woman coming out of a pub called the Stargazey. She boards the bus, leaves, reboards, and leaves the bus at Fulham Palace Road. Jury follows her to the gates. Later he wonders if the death in the Palace's walled garden could have been averted if he had only gone in.
